Designed and written for a 26-string harp without sharping levers, this music from his recording Open to the North. Especially suited for the intermediate to advanced player. The range extends only as far down as C below middle C, and as high as G one octave above the top of the treble clef. A few pieces require slight changes from the C major tuning, but no accidentals. Optional descants are included in the score for many of the arrangements -- originally written for F recorder and bowed psaltery, they are equally lovely played on flute, violin or oboe.
