SKU: 44209 Spanish Dance #4 Here is a playable version of this enjoyable piece. The original key is G, this is in D. It is for pedal harp, the notes being clear and easy to read. Pedal markings are not indicated, however they are not difficult. Included is a visual sample and a sound sample. Mr. Landy has written an interesting one-page foreward for this piece, also. You may read about the composer, Enrique Granados, at wikipedia. Very interesting story. Spanish Dance #4, “Villanesca,” by Enrique Granados (written by Mitch Landy) A work of stately simplicity, in a major key with a minor middle section. This is an arrangement, not a transcription, because in addition to changing the key (from G up to D), it has been abridged by the elimination of some repetitions; moreover, the ornamentation has been changed. Perhaps the chief difficulty lies in the frequent crossing of the left hand into a high register. Intermediate, 5 pages.
