Susan Koskelin, of Ft. Worth, TX, studied piano and organ in college and graduate school. After teaching and being a librarian in public school for many years, she became interested in the harp when a harp store opened near her home. After one visit she began studying harp with Geoffrey Ricketts. She has gone from a Dusty Strings 36-string folk harp to a Camac Clio to a Camac Big Blue concert grand electric. In addition to playing solo for weddings and other events, she also plays with HarpEssence, a 5-harp ensemble that plays all over the DFW area. She is now studying harp with Kimberly DeRosa and arranging music for the ensemble.
