For voice and piano, the piano part can be played on harp.
Shari dedicates this in loving memory to Erma Barret and many other who have gone before us and called Wisconsin their home -- 'the land of their dreams.'
Sarazin's grandmother penned the words to this poem, and Shari wrote the tune in 1993. In 2001, the state legislature named it the official state ballad.
